“Enjoy your youth. You’ll never be younger than you are at this very moment.” – Chad Sugg, author
“Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth.” – Solomon, king
The time of your life
Your teens are a time of big change, exciting exploration, and (sometimes scary) challenges. The Jesus Army is a church that values young people. We want to see you become the best that you can be.
There’s loads to get involved with. National “Jesus Army Youth” activities for 12s to 17s take place at the Jesus Army’s festival weekends, three times a year. (And keep your ears to this ground for news of “JA youth” camps on these occasions over the coming year!)
There are also many youth cell groups (small groups of between three and about eight) and other youth activities around the UK in the different places the Jesus Army is based.
The “unmissable” youth event
Each year, the Jesus Army hosts “RAW (Real & Wild)”, a life-changing, three-day-long, youth event.
Wondering what to do before going to university? The Jesus Army offers a “Jesus Army Training Year” (can be shorter – three, six or twelve months) for young people looking to experience residential intentional Christian community and grow in their Christian faith.
The Jesus Fellowship/Jesus Army is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults and ensuring their well-being. Members whose work or volunteering involves unsupervised contact with children or young people under 18 undertake a DBS Disclosure and work to a formal code of conduct. For details of our safeguarding procedures for children and young adults read our Safeguarding Statement and view our Safeguarding Poster.
